Axel Preuss-Kuhne draws on more than 15 years of experience in real estate development to serve as a partner at Robax Investments LLC, a Miami-based real estate investment firm. Since co-founding the company in 2010, he has overseen the acquisition of properties throughout the thriving Miami-Dade market. He focuses on single family homes and townhouses, utilizing a proprietary analysis tool to assess some 500 properties per week. After guiding each acquisition, Axel Preuss-Kuhne and his business Partner oversee the renovation and eventual rental or sale of the property.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Preuss-Kuhne spearheaded the planning and construction of one of El Salvador’s most highly sought-after urban developments. From 2005 to 2016, he was a partner in the development of La Florida, an urban residential community in San Salvador. Mr. Preuss-Kuhne oversaw the project from inception to completion, gathering initial investors and development partners to transform one of the city’s most promising pieces of real estate into a vibrant community. Over a 10-year period, he regularly traveled to the property to ensure the efficient development of the scenic 100-acre site. The 450-lot development now contains nearly 100 homes and has more than tripled in value, boasting property sales of over $40 million.
Axel Preuss-Kuhne received an extensive business education in Germany – a three year, dual education at Schwartauer Werke GmbH & Co, one of Germany’s leading food processing firms. There, he became well-versed in sales, marketing, accounting, and logistics, followed by an intensive Marketing and Sales Training at Unilever –Germany , before going on to serve for seven years on the board of the prominent German food company Carl Kuhne KG in Hamburg.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Axel Preuss-Kuhne is one of the directors of the Nicaraguan American Golf Association. He also supports artistic opportunities for youth through the YoungArts Foundation, which aids the development of promising young creative minds in the visual, literary, and performing arts.
